Dear Benefactors, Advocates and Supporters of Orthodoxy in Catholic Higher Education,

 

It is with some disappointment that we must announce that our Fundraising Gala has been cancelled.  The response to our invitations was not adequate enough to justify holding such an event at this time.  One of the biggest challenges confronting a start-up venture is that there does not exist a "track record" of performance which proves that the proposed venture's value is worth the financial risk for potential supporters.  Although we've been blessed with having you, our benefactors' generous support, our fiduciary responsibilities and obligations cannot be ignored; therefore, we've decided to change course in our activities for the coming Liturgical Year.    

 

Rather than continuing with the distribution of a quarterly newsletter/donor request, we will be starting a campaign of promotional podcasts with the assistance of Dr. Peter Kwasniewski (whose biography can be viewed here), a co-founder of Wyoming Catholic College in Lander, Wyoming.  We hope to produce a total of four such presentations for distribution to a greater number of potential donors, thus securing a broader financial base from which to operate.  These podcasts will also be posted on our website for viewing, so we suggest that you, our readers, will visit this site regularly to keep up with these presentations.  We pray that those of you who've yet to join us with your financial support will be convinced, inspired by the content of the presentations, that our quest to open the doors of the Great Vocations College of St. Athanasius merits that support.
